Immersed in uncontaminated nature, the Troncea valley offers several opportunities to tourists visiting from spring to autumn.
The Val Troncea nature park, the Orsiera Rocciavrè nature park and the Salbeltrand Great Wood Park represent some of the richest areas in naturalistic and excursion trails. There are also many tracks equipped for the mountain bike lovers with itineraries for various abilities. There are more than 100 climbing routes, among which the Pisa falls (in Perosa Argentina area), certainly the most representative. Particularly worth mentioning is Fenestrelle Fort. Built by the Sun-King in 1694, it extends on a 3km long and 635 metres high surface that can be walked through climbing up never-ending stairs. |
